Over the years, Janvikas Society has received national and state-level recognition for its sustained commitment to community development, women empowerment, youth engagement, and the rights of informal sector workers.
The “Finance Excellence Award” was conferred to Janvikas Society by Indo Global Social Service Society, Delhi in 2019. This recognition underscores Janvikas’ commitment to financial transparency, accountability, and responsible governance in managing development programs and donor-supported initiatives.
Janvikas Society received the “Parivartan Inspire Award 2018–2019” on 27 January 2018 at Abhay Prashal Auditorium, Indore for its outstanding contribution in Women, Youth, and Child Welfare initiatives. The event was jointly organized by Britt Worldwide and Parivartan.
Janvikas Society received the “Madhya Pradesh NGO Leadership Awards 2018” on 1 June 2018 at Pride Hotel and Convention Centre, Indore. The award was received by Fr. Roy and Fr. Dominic. The event was organized by Dr. R. L. Bhatia, Founder of World CSR Day and World Sustainability.
Janvikas Society received this recognition from Indo Global Social Service Society, Delhi for its innovative work with informal sector workers, especially waste pickers in Indore, promoting the vision of “Samaveshi Shehar” – an Inclusive City.
Janvikas Society was honored by Indore Municipal Corporation for its collaboration under the Swachh Bharat Mission. Through door-to-door counselling, street plays, rallies, and awareness campaigns across 9 wards covering approximately 45,000 households, Janvikas contributed significantly to cleanliness awareness in Indore.
Janvikas Society received the “Bharat Vishisht Sewa Puraskar” from the Foundation for Accelerated Community Empowerment (FACE), New Delhi in recognition of its contribution to community development and women empowerment programs in Indore and Bhopal.
Janvikas Society was conferred the “Excellence Award for National Social Activity” by Global Achievers Foundation, New Delhi. The award was presented to Fr. Roy Thomas SVD in recognition of Janvikas’ initiatives for the development of unorganized women workers, youth, and children in the slums of Indore.
