Restoring Learning Opportunities for Vulnerable Children
Bridge Course Centers
Bridge Course Centers are organized for children who have never been enrolled in school, dropped out, or struggled to cope with formal education. Many of these children are forced into work at an early age to support their families, taking up menial jobs or collecting waste from dumping sites. This exposes them to exploitation, addiction, and serious health risks.
SAMMAN identifies such dropout and working children across slum communities and enrolls them in Bridge Course Centers. These centers provide focused academic support and age-appropriate learning to prepare children for mainstream schooling.
Every year, children completing the bridge program are successfully admitted into formal schools, helping them reintegrate into the education system.
Tuition Classes
Many children attending government schools in slum areas receive limited academic support due to overcrowded classrooms and lack of individual attention. Additionally, most parents are illiterate and unable to assist with homework or exam preparation.
To address this gap, SAMMAN organizes structured tuition classes that provide academic reinforcement, homework guidance, and exam preparation support. These classes improve learning outcomes and reduce failure and dropout rates among children.
Awareness Programs
SAMMAN conducts regular awareness programs for slum communities on critical social and health issues. These sessions aim to strengthen family well-being and community development.

Youth Peace Committee
The Youth Peace Committee brings together local youth to address community challenges through awareness campaigns and motivational initiatives. Members actively engage in resolving local issues that affect families and hinder children’s development.
Through street plays and community outreach programs, social evils such as substance abuse, domestic conflicts, and neglect of education are highlighted. These activities help build a healthier social environment and promote peaceful community living.
